RETURNS POLICY
We want you to be happy with your purchase. If you are not, please email us within 5 days of receiving your package to arrange for a return. Items returned must be unworn, with original tags attached, and in their original packaging. Shipping costs will not be refunded. Once we receive your returned item(s) we will contact you and refund your account. Any items returned without return consent will be refused. All SALE items are final sale. Due to hygenic reasons, earrings are final sale.
LAYAWAY POLICY:
Layaway is available for individual pieces that are $150.00 or over. Purchases of multiple pieces of jewelry that add up to $150 are not eligible for layaway. Items on layaway will be set aside for you until full payment is made. Payments are to be made in three installments: 1/3 at time of purchase, 1/3 on the 1st of the month following the initial purchase, and the remaining 1/3 on the 1st of the second month following the initial purchase. (ex. buy June 15 = 1/3 paid at time, 1st pymt due July 1, final pymt due Aug.1). Payment for shipping charges will be collected when the initial purchase is made. Emailed invoices for the installments will be sent to the purchaser and are to be paid within 5 days of receipt. Failure to remit required payment by due date will result in 10% penalty applied to purchase. Penalty will be based on total purchase amount. Should you decide to not complete your layaway plan, you must notify your intention to Slate Jewelry in writing, within the timeframe of the payment plan, a refund of monies paid less 15% will be returned to you. Failure to complete layaway payment plan, without any notice to Slate Jewelry, will result in NO REFUND of any monies forwarded.
SHIPPING
SHIPPING COST: British Columbia - flat rate $15 Canada wide - flat rate $17 US orders $25 International $45 All Items are shipped via Canada Post Expresspost with basic included insurance. Any additional insurance will be charged at cost. An email will be sent to you with the tracking number. Excess shipping fees charged will be refunded to you if the actual cost of the shipping charge/packing box is less than the standard listed rate.
SHIPPING TIMES:
Pieces that are in stock will ship within 3-5 days of confirmed payment. Pieces made-to-order will ship within 2-3 weeks, unless otherwise notified.
