Earrings with history - these cool cabochons have been cut from the enamel overspray in a paint room at the Jeep factory. Commonly known as “fordite,” Jeep pieces of this rare material have distinctive bold colours and concentric circles. Sourced in the US and cut by lapidary artists in the UK, these are a fun bit of pop culture. I’ve taken a bit of inspiration for the form from my visit to Deuce Days, and all the hot rods.
They hang at about 2.5 inches.
